Objectives of the Role
The Driver ensures safe, efficient, and punctual transport for guests, staff, and goods. The role requires responsibility, attention to safety, and professional conduct when representing Gernic Investments on and off the road.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate company vehicles to transport passengers, staff, or materials safely
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of assigned vehicles
• Keep accurate trip records, mileage logs, and fuel usage reports
• Adhere to traffic laws and company safety policies
• Assist with loading and unloading when required

• Safe, timely, and reliable transport services
• Vehicles maintained in good working condition
• Accurate trip documentation and recordkeeping
• Positive representation of Gernic Investments Limited
Skills and Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a professional driver with a valid PNG license
• Strong knowledge of Bougainville and Kokopo routes
• Clean driving record and safety awareness
• Punctual, honest, and customer-focused
• Basic mechanical understanding preferred
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience as a hotel or company driver
• Familiarity with corporate transport and logistics scheduling
• Certificate in Defensive Driving or equivalent
