Key Responsibilities
-
Implement and monitor the ESIP, DT Global HSES, GEDSI and Safeguards Management Plan.

Conduct daily site safety inspections, hazard identification, risk assessments and toolbox talks.

Ensure compliance with PNG labour, safety and environmental legislation and ESIP requirements.

Manage incident reporting, investigations and corrective actions.
-
Oversee waste management, erosion and sediment control and community safety.
-
Deliver HSE inductions and maintain audit-ready HSE records.
-
Prepare weekly GEDSI, Safeguards and HSE reports.
-
Report daily to the Project Manager on site issues affecting operations.
Qualifications & Experience
-
Certificate IV in Occupational Health & Safety, Diploma in Environmental Science or equivalent.

Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Environment or HSE Officer on construction or infrastructure projects.
-
Knowledge of DFAT, ESIP or donor-funded HSES requirements is an advantage.
-
Competent in incident investigation, risk assessment and reporting.

Strong Microsoft Office, reporting and leadership skills.
